Volunteer Opportunities
Partners at Work Firm & Corporate Representatives
Partners at Work is a growing volunteer program that recognizes the law firms, courts and business organizations that employ multiple University of Minnesota Law School alumni. Build a strong alumni network and make a difference collectively on behalf of your firm or organization.
The Law School seeks Partners at Work representatives from firms or organizations with five or more Law School alumni to host the dean's visits at their firms and serve as contacts for alumni to learn about other Law School giving and volunteer opportunities. As a volunteer, you will receive regular progress updates, invitations to special law school events, and strategies to educate your colleagues on the Partners at Work program and to motivate them to give as generously as they can to meet the 100% participation challenge.
Reunion Committee Volunteer
Spring Alumni Weekend is a great opportunity for a class action! Catch up with old friends, revisit the Law School or host a virtual reunion. Become more involved with the weekend by joining your class Reunion Committee. As a Committee Member you will participate in conference calls, serving a primary function of encouraging your classmates to attend Reunion Weekend.
Student Competition Judging
Law Students are encouraged to refine their lawyering skills by participating in student competitions. These competitions help students enhance their legal writing, dispute resolution, interviewing, and counseling skills, in addition to providing excellent legal training and professional values.
