Prentiss CoxAssociate Clinical Professor of LawOberlin College, B.A. Clinical Professor Prentiss Cox was an Assistant Attorney General and manager of the Consumer Enforcement Division in the Minnesota Attorney General's Office prior to joining the clinical faculty. He was also a law clerk for the Honorable P. H. Marshall of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Professor Cox has prosecuted numerous nationally recognized cases involving predatory lending and subprime mortgage lending, credit card practices, and telemarketing fraud. He is a frequent speaker on consumer protection issues and is often quoted in local and national media on consumer law issues. Professor Cox has drafted and testified for numerous consumer protection laws related to mortgage lending, foreclosure fraud, telemarketing and other matters. Professor Cox has also been selected as a Minnesota "Super Lawyer."
