Connie LenzAssociate Director for Collection DevelopmentUniversity of California, Los Angeles, B.F.A. Professor Connie Lenz is the Law Library's Associate Director for Collection Development. She coordinates the selection of library materials in all formats, and oversees the growth and management of the library's extensive collections. She also participates in the overall administration of the Law Library. Professor Lenz received her B.F.A. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her J.D. and M.L.I.S. degrees from the University of California, Berkeley. After spending a year in a special appointment at Boalt Hall's Law Library, Professor Lenz worked as a Collection Development/Reference Librarian at the University of Michigan Law Library. She then became the Head of Public Services and later the Assistant Director at Hofstra University's Deane Law Library, where she also taught Advanced Legal Research. Professor Lenz joined the University of Minnesota Law School library faculty in 2002. She is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) and the Minnesota Association of Law Libraries. She currently serves on the AALL Mentoring Committee. Professor Lenz's research interests include library management, and the integration of print and electronic resources in both legal research instruction and collection development. |
