He has worked as a law clerk for the Referendariat International Law firm in Berlin and has also interned with the Public Prosecution Service in Berlin. Mr. Breier enjoys chess and soccer, and anticipates studying international law.

China
Ms. Che earned her L.L.B. from the Shandong University of Technology in Shandong, China. She has worked as a Judicial Clerk in the Business Case Department at the Supreme Court of the Shandong Province and has volunteered at the Hennepin County Adult Probation Department. Ms. Che anticipates studying international law.

Mexico
Mr. Flores earned his L.L.B. at the Marista University School of Law in Mexico City. He has worked at the Law Office of Fernandez, Prodo and Associates in Mexico City for six years. Mr. Flores enjoys soccer and history novels and anticipates studying commercial and international law.
Mr. Jun Hattori,
Japan
Mr. Hattori earned his L.L.B. from the Chuo University in Tokyo, Japan. He was a Law Clerk at the Legal Training and Research Institute in the Supreme Court of Japan. Mr. Hattori is a partner of the Hattori Yutaka Law Firm in Nagoya, Japan and is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the Japan Federation of Bar Associations. Mr. Hattori anticipates studying contracts, transactional legal practice and ethics.
Mr. Ziad Kays,
Lebanon
Mr. Kays earned his LL.B. from Sagesse University in Beirut, Lebanon and his MBA from the Lebanese American School of Business in Beirut. He has worked as a lawyer and consultant in Beirut and has taught business courses at the university level. He anticipates studying contracts and international law and upon completion of his LL.M. he plans to start his own legal firm in Beirut.
Ms. Hsuan-Chen Kuo,
Taiwan
Ms. Kuo earned her LL.B. from Soochow University in Taipei, Taiwan. She has worked at an attorney at the Law Offices of Pei-Ren Chen and has also volunteered with the Legal Aid Foundation in Taipei, Taiwan. Ms. Kuo anticipates studying international law in order to work with foreign and local enterprises in Taiwan.
Mr. Kanghoon Lee,
Korea
Mr. Lee earned his LL.B. from Seoul National University College of Law in Seoul, Korea. He has worked for TW International Law Partners for five years, served as a public defender in the Seoul District Court and is also a Member of the Legislation Committee for the Seoul District Bar Association. Mr. Lee anticipates studying corporate law and international transactions.

Mr. Lindner earned his LL.B. from the University of Basel in Switzerland. He interned for Vischer Attorneys at Law in Basel and Zurich and for the District Court of Laufen. Mr. Lindner enjoys long distance running and skiing, and anticipates studying commercial and international law.

Ms. Maisakul earned her LL.B. from Thammasat University in Bangkok. She has worked for the Nirun and Associates Law Office in Bangkok and has volunteered at the Bangkok School for Training the Blind. Ms. Maisakul anticipates studying intellectual property with a focus on protecting countries from bio-piracy.

Ms. Martinier is an exchange student from the University of Lyon in Lyon, France where she earned her LL.B. and her Master’s degree in Business Law. She has interned with several business law firms in Lyon, Monaco and Detroit, Michigan. Ms. Martinier enjoys swimming and tennis, and anticipates studying international and corporate law.
Mr. Philip Mwaka,
Uganda
Mr. Mwaka earned his LL.B. from Makerere University in Uganda. He is currently a Senior State Attorney in the Chambers of the Attorney General in Uganda and he serves on the Uganda Electoral Commission. Mr. Mwaka has experience in civil litigation and representation of public corporations and local governments in Uganda. Mr. Mwaka anticipates studying corporate law, international business transactions and human rights.

Korea
Mr. Park earned his LL.B. from Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea. He has worked at SK C&C as the manager of a legal team since 2002 and received awards for his outstanding work within the company. Mr. Park anticipates studying international business affairs with an emphasis in global IT services.
Ms. Chanthicha Sasanadhamrong,
Thailand
Ms. Sasanadhamrong earned her LL.B. from Ramkhamhaeng University in Bangkok, Thailand. She has been working as the bankruptcy official receiver in the Legal Execution Department at the Ministry of Justice in Bangkok. She earned her LL.M. degree at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio, and has also interned with the United States Bankruptcy Court. Ms. Sasanadhamrong anticipates studying bankruptcy and business law in order to contribute to the development of the Thai bankruptcy system.
Mr. Birhanemeskel Segni,
Ethiopia
Mr. Segni received his LL.B. degree from Addis Ababa University School of Law in Ethiopia. Mr.Segni served as High Court Judge, and as Legal Advisor at the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He also served as Diplomat and Legal Advisor at the Permanent Mission of Ethiopia in New York representing Ethiopia at the United Nations. Mr. Segni is currently working as Research Fellow at the Human Rights Center of the University of Minnesota. He anticipates studying international human rights, international business transactions and corporate laws.

Ms. Wang earned her LL.B. from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in Shanghai, China. She has interned at the Supreme Court of Beijing and established a volunteer team to teach underprivileged children in Shanghai. Ms. Wang anticipates studying international business law.

Ms. Wang earned her LL.B. and her B.A. in English from East China University of Politics and Law in Shanghai, China. She has worked for Transasia Lawyers in Shanghai for the past year. Ms. Wang anticipates studying intellectual property law.
Mr. Alem Yirga,
Ethiopia
Mr. Yirga earned his LL.B. from Addis Ababa University in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He was a judge for the Federal First Instance Court and an Assistant Judge on the Federal High Court in Ethiopia. Mr. Yirga has also interned in the Inter Africa Group as a trial observer. He has worked as a law clerk at the Federal First Instance and High Court before he was appointed as a Judge. Mr. Yirga anticipates studying international law and international human rights law with an emphasis on human rights advocacy.

He has worked as a legal counsel at ZiYou Publishing Co. in Taipei and as Assistant of Enforcement for the Bianciao City Administrative Enforcement Agency. Mr. Yu anticipates studying commercial law with an emphasis on international business and merger law.
